José Miguel Pinto Costa

José Miguel Pinto Costa is a Consultant Clinical Audiologist with over nine years of experience providing high-quality audiological care across both the NHS and private practice, working closely alongside ENT specialists. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Audiology from ESTSP-IPP in Porto, Portugal, and has developed extensive expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation of patients with hearing and balance disorders.

Costa provides comprehensive hearing assessments and personalised hearing rehabilitation for adults of all ages, ensuring that every patient receives tailored care based on their individual needs and lifestyle. He also has experience in paediatric audiology, delivering compassionate and age-appropriate hearing assessments for children.

In addition to hearing healthcare, Costa has a strong interest and background in vestibular assessment, helping to diagnose conditions associated with dizziness and vertigo.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Costa is passionate about delivering patient-centred care and believes that every patient deserves to be listened to with empathy, respect and professionalism. He takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and are given the time and attention needed to make informed decisions about their hearing health. His goal is always to ensure that every patient leaves feeling supported, confident and satisfied with the care they have received.

Outside of the clinic, Costa enjoys spending quality time with his two daughters and is an enthusiastic fan of motor racing and ice hockey, regularly attending events whenever he has the opportunity.
