Regain Hearing are currently looking for an experienced Hearing Care Assistant to operate within a new clinic in Northfleet. The clinic is located in a prime location within easy reach of the A2 making it very convenient for travel.

As a Hearing Care Assistant at the clinic, you will be supported by the Hearing Aid Dispenser in running the clinic independently. You will be experienced in providing an excellent level of customer service, be target driven and look to support the development of the hearing care business.

Requirements of the role

  • With indirect support from Hearing Aid Dispenser, deliver customer consultations to a professional, courteous and high-quality standard
  • Provide customers with advice and guidance as required
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant ethical and standard operating protocols as prescribed by professional bodies such as HCPC / BSA / BAA/ BSHAA
  • Conduct microsuction wax removal safely and in compliance with recommended guidelines
  • Complete customer follow-up contact and aftercare support
  • Provide customers with a full aftercare service to meet their individual needs
  • Be flexible and proactive to emerging opportunities to ensure that the clinic maximizes all profitable revenue streams
  • Take preliminary background history of customers
  • Complete all relevant aspects of consultation, fitting and rehabilitation as necessary with support from the Hearing Aid Dispenser
  • To maintain and repair hearing aids as necessary

Additional Information

The role may require the individual to be available to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business.  The post holder may need to travel within their clinic area and beyond for Home Visits if required.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic Front of House and PR Co-ordinator to join our ever expanding team. The Front of House Co-ordinator is the heart of our branch and would be the voice of our Eltham practice as well as the first point of contact with our clients and is responsible for creating a friendly, professional, and welcoming environment. In addition we are looking for someone with Public Relations/marketing experience with knowledge of the local area and the ability to forge relationships within the community and raise awareness of the services we offer by attending events. A flair for finance and attention to detail is also essential as you would need to competently check and challenge all inbound internal invoices from our suppliers prior to payment. The successful candidate will keep track of all patient open orders, ensuring that their account files are balanced and up to date and work closely with our Marketing Manager to promote the business locally. Experience in procurement and/or internal auditing would be advantageous along with knowledge of accounting software such as Xero or similar systems.

THE ROLE:

  • Meeting and greeting patients and ensuring an outstanding level of customer service is provided.
  • Managing and coordinating our audiologists’ diaries as well as communicating with our other practices and departments
  • Booking appointments
  • Taking payments and processing refunds and dealing with enquiries and complaints
  • Taking calls
  • Managing practice procedures and implementing protocols
  • Making contact with organisers of local events and publications to build relationships within the local community
  • Liaise with the Marketing Manager to schedule a programme of adverts, editorials and promotional literature
  • Fast-paced multitasking, completing tasks quickly in line with protocols and appropriately responding to priority situations
  • Keeping clinic areas clean and tidy and to an excellent standard

  • Gathering feedback from patients via questionnaires, testimonials and electronic methods
  • To complete all relevant administration including scanning patient information, booking appointments, preparing templates, updating patient databases and making sure legal documents are submitted correctly

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ideally a minimum of two years’ experience in a reception/front of house role.
  • Experience in a PR/Sales & Marketing role.
  • Outgoing, friendly manner.
  • Knowledge of the Eltham area and an interest in community events.
  • Enjoy providing warm, professional care to clients.
  • A person who takes initiative and is an enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Good with technology and operates in an organised, neat manner.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must be able to multitask and juggle a large workload as well as being confident in communicating with people from all walks of life.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and time management skills.
  • Helping less able patients to access clinic and anticipating individual needs
