What is a Behind the Ear (BTE) Hearing Aid?

Behind the Ear (BTE) hearing aids are popular due to their powerful amplification and versatility. The design features a casing behind the ear that houses the receiver and microphone, which process and amplify sounds. These sounds are then transmitted through a plastic tube into an ear mould.
