What is an Completely In The Canal (CIC) Hearing Aid?

Completely-in-Canal (CIC) Hearing Aids are the smallest and most discreet hearing devices, custom-made to fit entirely within the ear canal, making them virtually invisible.

CIC hearing aids are ideal for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss who seek effective amplification and a discreet solution. Despite their small size, they often include advanced features like noise reduction and feedback cancellation, delivering clear and natural sound.

What to Expect from CIC Hearing Aids:

Natural Sound
CIC hearing aids allow your outer ear to funnel sounds naturally, with the device processing and amplifying them before reaching your eardrum, providing a more natural listening experience.
Enhanced Directionality
The deep placement helps with sound directionality, making it easier to identify where sounds are coming from.

While CIC aids have many benefits, there are also some trade-offs. For more details on whether CIC hearing aids are right for you, contact our expert team for a consultation and a free hearing test.

Would the CIC suit you?

Almost Invisible
CIC hearing aids are nearly invisible, visible only if someone looks directly into your ear.
Natural Sound Direction
Their position allows you to detect the direction of sounds, providing a more natural hearing experience.
Natural Sound Quality
The aid collects and amplifies sounds naturally, giving a clearer and more natural sound.
Comfortable to Wear
Custom-made to fit your ear canal, CIC aids are small and comfortable.
Discreet Controls
Adjustments are made through a remote control or smartphone app, keeping changes discreet.
Natural Phone Use
You can use your phone normally without holding it away from your ear.
Compatible with Headgear
CIC aids don’t interfere with wearing helmets, headphones, or headgear, ideal for active lifestyles.
Reduced Wind Noise
Positioned in the ear canal, CIC aids experience minimal wind noise disruption.
