Meet our Audiologists

Lindsay Fletcher
(RHAD) (BSHAA) (FdA)
Company Director & Consultant Audiologist

Lindsay is a Company Director and one of the principal Consultant Audiologists for Regain Hearing. She qualified with distinction at Amplivox Academy in Wilmslow, Cheshire in 2005. Here she also met her partner Lee Fletcher, whom she would form the company with five years later. Lindsay has a wonderful way with people. As an audiologist her personality and kind manner shine through when dealing with her clients. This is matched only by her technical ability, highly trained in all aspects of audiology, with a wealth of experience in treating all manner of hearing losses, Tinnitus and ear wax removal.

EXPERIENCE

Lindsay began her career as an Audiologist for Hearing Health in the West Midlands as a domicilary practitioner, specialising in all aspects of hearing correction for patients with mobility problems. She quickly gained popularity and trust with her growing network of patients and was seen as a safe pair of hands, always willing to go the extra mile. Incidentally, this glowing reputation caught the attention of Age Concern who were keen to work with her when Lindsay finally decided to branch out on her own. Regain Hearing soon became the 'go to' guys for Age Concern recommendations. Lindsay and Lee became the hearing health professionals for their elderly and dementia patients in Kent.

Lindsay's rapidly expanding knowledge of all hearing aid manufacturers, technology and styles led her to become part of an elite national hearing exhibition team very early on in her career whilst working at Hearing Health. She was tasked with advising visitors of all ages as to types and causes of hearing losses and providing personalised solutions. She quickly learnt her trade, around the same time that hearing aid technology witnessed the birth of the digital age.

Lindsay was responsible for upgrading hundreds of private hearing aid wearers from analogue aids to digital systems - no mean feat! When it comes to getting the best out of a hearing aid, she has always been unrivalled in her field. The skill involved in programming digital hearing aids is often overlooked, but it is crucial to successfully fitting them to patients, something Lindsay recognised very early on.

Prior to founding Regain Hearing in 2010, Lindsay also worked for Hearing and Mobility and latterly Amplifon, as branch Manager of their Canterbury practice for two years. During her time as an employee, she remained ever popular with her patients, always positioned at the top 5% of high achieving audiologists in the UK.

EARLY CAREER

At an early age Lindsay was identified as an influential figure in the Health and Leisure Industry, given top level management roles within various UK luxury health spas. She was exposed to excellence in hospitality, providing the highest level in customer service, dealing with the general public and famous, high profile clients alike.

At just 24 years old, Lindsay was head hunted by The Racquet and Healthtrack group to set up and manage an exclusive flagship new-build health club in Solihull, West Midlands. Due to its rapid success, Lindsay was awarded Health Spa of the year, and was promoted to assistant AGM. It didn't take her long before she was running her own clubs as a General Manager for David Lloyd leisure in Burton Waters, Lincoln and Leicester.

At the grand old age of 30, Lindsay made a life changing gear-crunching career move into audiology. She found that she could utilise the skills she had learnt running health clubs when looking after patients as a health care professional.

PERSONAL LIFE

Lindsay has a young family who she enjoys her time with. She has four daughters, two dogs, one cat and Lee (not in order of priority she hastens to add!). She has a real passion for music and likes to keep fit and active. Lindsay has a strong connection to Spain, where she regularly takes the family to visit her mother, a local artist in Torrevieja
